Test Events 2025
We have a number of public admission testing events scheduled around the country, through the end of this year.
November
Auckland - Saturday, 22nd November, at 12:00pm (Birkenhead Library)
Christchurch - Saturday, 22nd November, at 10:15am (Tūranga Library)
Wellington - Sunday, 30th November, at 11:30am (Thistle Hall Community Venue)
December
Hamilton - Thursday, 4th December, at 6:30pm (Fraser High School)
Test dates for the remainder of the year, in our other usual testing cities (Dunedin and Nelson), have not been scheduled - sessions there, or in other other locations (e.g., Whangarei, Taupō) - can be arranged as needed. Registration
If you wish to register for a test and be placed in contact with the appropriate people, please complete this fillable form and send to national.testing@mensa.org.nz
- The fee to sit the test is $60 and for students or unwaged $45 (with appropriate ID). Please include a copy of your payment confirmation when you submit your Application to Sit Entry Test form.
- If the date and time provided is not suitable, please apply for the test and let the tester know. We will arrange a suitable time and date.
- NOTE: This test is given for the purpose of entry to Mensa. Your IQ score will not be given, only whether or not your performance on the test has qualified you for membership (i.e., your score placed you in the 98th or 99th percentile).
