We have public admission testing events scheduled around the country, throughout the year.

2026 test dates in some of our other usual testing cities have not yet been scheduled; dates will be posted here as soon as they are available. Sessions in other locations (e.g., Nelson, Taupō) can be arranged as needed. Contact our National Testing Coordinator, John DiLeo (national.testing@mensa.org.nz) for more information.
Registration
If you wish to register for a test and be placed in contact with the appropriate people, please complete this fillable form and send to national.testing@mensa.org.nz
- The fee to sit the test is $60 and for students or unwaged $45 (with appropriate ID). Please include a copy of your payment confirmation when you submit your Application to Sit Entry Test form.
- If the listed dates and times in your area are not suitable, please apply for the test and let the National Testing Coordinator know. We will work with our local Testing Officer to arrange a suitable time and date.
- NOTE: This test is given for the purpose of entry to Mensa. Your IQ score will not be given, only whether or not your performance on the test has qualified you for membership (i.e., your score placed you in the 98th or 99th percentile).
