Application Form to Sit an Entry Test

  • Please complete this fillable form and send to national.testing@mensa.org.nz alongside paying the associated fee
  • The Unwaged/Student concession requires valid ID or proof of entitlement
  • The test fee is $60 Adults, or $45 U18/Retired/Unwaged/Student which converts into a one year membership subscription if successful

Please complete this fillable form if you are applying to join Mensa NZ on the basis of prior evidence such as an IQ test administered by a registered psychologist
  • There is an application fee of $60 Adults, or $45 U18/Retired/Unwaged/Student which converts into a one year membership subscription if successful
  • Unwaged/Student concession requires valid ID or proof of entitlement
  • Please return completed form to membership@mensa.org.nz alongside paying the associated fee
  • Please note -
    • Full documentation must be received
    • All documentation must be the original or a notarized copy of the original
    • Tests must be administered by a neutral and qualified third party in a traditional testing environment under conditions appropriate for the norming standards of each test (such as the classroom of a certified schoolteacher or a registered psychologist).
    • Automated online IQ test results are not accepted

Transfer of Membership Application Form

Please complete this fillable form if you are, or have previously been, a member of another Mensa national group (or direct international member) and are wishing to join Mensa NZ. This includes transferring existing membership to Mensa NZ. 
  • If you do not hold a current home country subscription, a subscription with Mensa NZ will be required to finalise your membership. Current subscription fees -
    • One Year | Adult, $45; Concession, $30 (U18/Retired/Student/Unwaged)
    • Three Years | Adult, $120; Concession, $80 (U18/Retired/Student)
    • Unwaged/Student concession requires valid ID or proof of entitlement
  • Please return completed form to membership@mensa.org.nz

Please complete this fillable form if you are applying for guest membership of Mensa NZ on the basis of a current member subscription held in your Mensa home country
  • You will receive free guest membership for the duration of your stay in NZ providing your overseas Mensa membership remains current
  • You will have access to M New Zealand the Mensa NZ private Facebook group and Members Area of the Mensa NZ website
